AG obtains court order to protect demolished Kurunegala archaeology site

The Attorney General has obtained an order from the Kurunegala Magistrate’s Court to protect and prevent access to the demolished building in Kurunegala with an archaeological value, pending investigations.

This was confirmed to reporters by State Counsel Nishara Jayaratne, the coordinating officer to the Attorney General.
