AG directs Acting IGP to arrest MP Rishad Bathiudeen

The Attorney General has directed the Acting Inspector General of Police (IGP) to obtain arrest warrant on Parliamentarian Rishad Bathiudeen.

The arrest warrant will be pertaining to the criminal misappropriation of public funds and violation of election laws with regard to transportation of the IDPs in CTB buses to cast votes for the 2019 Presidential Election, the Coordinating Officer of the Attorney General said.
