A member of an organized criminal gang has been arrested by the Kiribathgoda Police in the area of Aluthkade.
The suspect was identified as an accomplice of the notorious underworld figure Dematagoda Chaminda.
Reports said the police had found heroin on the suspect at the time of the arrest.
