A 21-hour water cut will be in several areas of Colombo starting from 9.00 am on Saturday (10) due to essential improvement work at Ambatale water treatment plant, the National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) said.
The water supply will be interrupted until 6.00 am on Sunday (11).
Accordingly, Colombo 1, 2, 3, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 will be without water supply, while supply will be at low pressure in Colombo 4 and 12.
The NWSDB regrets any inconvenience likely to be caused to consumers as a result of the water cut and requested them to stock sufficient water.
