78 remanded for inciting violence in North Western Province

Police Spokesperson SP Ruwan Gunasekara says that 78 suspects in the North Western Province were arrested and remanded for inciting violence in the area.

He stated this addressing the media today (15).

Meanwhile, police curfew was re-enforced in Gampaha and North Western Province with effect from 7.00 p.m. today and it is set to be lifted at 4.00 a.m. tomorrow (16).
