40 more people from Colombo and Suduwella in Ja-Ela were sent to Quarantine Facilities.

Chief of the Task Force to Combat COVID-19 , Army Commander Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva said the group were moved to quarantine as they associated people who tested positive for COVID-19.

Another 222 people are to be released from the Punani Quarantine Facility today following completion of their quarantine period.
