3154 drunk drivers were arrested by Sri Lanka Police in Special Operations carried out over the past 10 days.
Police Spokesperson SP Ruwan Gunasekera said the island-wide operations to arrest drunk drivers commenced on the 05th of July.
During the 24 hour window which ended at 06 this morning (July 15), 279 drunk drivers were arrested.
