The water supply to several areas including Kolonnawa will be suspended for 20-hours starting at 9:00 am today (Mar. 06), the National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) said.
The 20-hour water cut will be in effect for Kolonnawa, Rajagiriya, Moragasmulla, Obeysekarapura, Nawala, Koswatte, and at all bi-roads from Rajagiriya to Open Univesity in Nawala, the NWSDB noted.
According to the NWSDB, the suspension of the water supply is due to urgent repair work on a transmission pipeline from Ambathale to Kolonnawa.
