More COVID-19 positive cases have been identified raising the total number of cases reported from the Minuwangoda and Peliyagoda clusters to 9,937.
As per Army Commander Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva, 188 more cases have been detected.
Reportedly, all the latest cases are identified as contacts of the Peliyagoda Fish Market cluster, the Department of Government Information confirmed.
Thereby, a total of 445 new cases have been detected within the day so far.
