The water supply to several areas in Kalutara will be suspended for 18 hours starting from 8:00 am on Wednesday (Mar. 24), the National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) said.

Accordingly, the water cut will be experienced in the areas of Wadduwa, Waskaduwa, Pothupitiya, Molligoda, Morenthuduwa, Kalutara-North, and Kalutara-South.

The suspension of the water supply was due to maintenance activity at the Water Plant in the Alwis area in Kalutara, the Water Board noted.
