18 COVID-19 patients confirmed in Sri Lanka

7 more Sri Lankans who have contracted the Coronavirus have been identified.  This was confirmed by the Director of Health Services Specialist Dr. Anil Jasinghe.

According to the Director of Health Services, all 7 patients are males who had arrived from Italy and were placed under quarantine at the quarantine centre in Kandakadu. All 7 patients are currently receiving treatment at the Polonnaruwa hospital.

Therefore, the total number of Coronavirus patients in the country has risen to 18.
