15 naval personnel tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday – Army Chief

Fifteen from Sri Lanka Navy have tested positive for the COVID-19 on Tuesday (05), says the Commander of the Army Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva.

Sri Lanka confirmed 20 positive cases of coronavirus on Tuesday (05) as the total count soared to 771.

A total of 549 patients are currently under medical care for COVID-19 and the number of recoveries in Sri Lanka meanwhile reached 213.

The island also confirmed its ninth fatality due to the virus on Tuesday.
