The Prime Minister Suratin opened the new manufacturing room of Dankotuwa Ceylon Catch (Pudh) company

Prime Minister inaugurated the new production plant of Thangottuva Ceylon Ketch (Private) companyCeylon Catch (Pudh) company’s new fish production room was opened yesterday 2021.02.11 at Dankotuwa by Hon ‘ ble Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksha.
The company is a leading Sri Lanka exporter of seafood prepared to the USA, Japan, Canada, China, Thailand and Taiwan.
The annual export revenue of the Ceylon Catch (PUD) is USD 12 million. U.S. $ 15 million annual revenue is expected with the opening of the new manufacturing room.
This is how families represent 150 staff and over 1500 fisheries community.
The export target is set to be 3 times the current limit in the next 3 years after the launch of the new manufacturing room.
Under the management of Managing Director Indika Ellawala and Mr. Srijith Jayathunga, the company’s work has started on 2016 June 15 State ministers Sanath Nishantha, Lohan Ratwatte and the board of directors and employees of Ceylon Catch (Pudh) company were gathered at the event.

The company is Sri Lanka’s leading exporter of seafood manufactured to the United States, Japan, Canada, China, Thailand and Taiwan.
Ceylon Ketch (private) station’s annual export income is USD 12 million. The new manufacturing plant is expected to earn USD 15 million annually through the establishment.
150 employees and more than 1500 families will receive benefits through this station.
