The Dengue Control Unit of the Health Ministry has warned that the number of dengue cases being reported in the country is increasing gradually.
Speaking to the media Dr. Indika Weerasinghe attached to the National Dengue Control Unit said that around 9539 dengue cases have been reported so far this year.
Meanwhile, he said the number of dengue cases being reported in the Western Province and Jaffna District has increased rapidly.
