Due to a low level atmospheric disturbance, thundershowers are expected to develop over the most parts of the island during today (21) and tomorrow (22), stated the Meteorology Department.
Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in Central, Uva, Northern, North-central, Eastern and Sabaragamuwa provinces and heavy showers above 100 mm can be expected at some places. Cloudy skies can be expected in these areas.
Showers or thundershowers will occur elsewhere, particularly in the evening or night.
