The Colombo Prison Hospital will conduct a volunteer Polymerase chain reaction(PCR) testing for prison officials and prisoners who would have been exposed to the COVID-19, due to the current outbreak in the country.
Commissioner of Prisons (Rehabilitation) Chandana Ekanayake said, “More 150 PCR tests are expected to be conducted tomorrow for prison officials and prisoners, those who feel are vulnerable and would have come in contact, can undergo PCR tests at the hospital”.
