The All Ceylon Bakery Owners Association has announced that the price of a 450g loaf of bread will be reduced by 5 rupees with effect from midnight yesterday.
Chairman of the Association N.K. Jayawardene noted this step is being taken in a bid to ensure that the Government’s tax reliefs reach the people of the country.
