Mundalama Police said that stones had been pelted at a convoy of vehicles carrying former Minister Rishad Bathiudeen in Mundalama, Puttalam.
Stone pelting occurred at Madurankuliya – Kadayamatte road stretch at 5.45 p.m. yesterday. The police said that a car in the convoy had been slightly damaged, but no one was injured. The culprits had not yet been identified. The Mundalama police are conducting further investigations.
