Police say a special traffic plan is to be imposed near Bauddhaloka Mawatha for a period of three months. Accordingly, traffic will be restricted for those leaving Colombo from the Stanley Wijesundara Mawatha junction to the Thummulla roundabout.
Alternatively, vehicles entering Bauddhaloka Mawatha from Thunmulla Roundabout can enter Thurstan Road via Nanda Motors, Independence Roundabout, Philip Gunawardena Mawatha and Stanley Wijesundara Mawatha.
The police stated that the excavation carried out by the Colombo Municipal Council limits the traffic in these areas.
