The price of a 12 kg domestic gas cylinder would be increased to Rs. 4,610 from midnight today, Litro Chairman Muditha Pieris said.
The new retail price of the 5 kg gas cylinder will be Rs. 1,850, and the price of the 2.3 kg gas cylinder will be Rs. 860.
As a result, the price of refilling a 12.5 kg domestic gas cylinder will rise by Rs 250.
Accordingly, the price of a gas cylinder has increased by Rs. 4,610.
The 5 kg gas cylinder will be increased by Rs. 100, and the 2.3 kg cylinder will be increased by Rs. 45 from tonight.
