Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places over most parts of the island except Northern province during the evening or night, stated the Meteorology Department.
Fairly heavy showers about 75 mm can be expected at some places in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central and Uva provinces and in Galle and Matara districts.
