Following discussions with President Gotabaya Rajapaksa, Power Minister Gamini Lokuge, Energy Minister Udaya Gammanpila and ministry officials today, it was decided not to impose power cuts.
Despite the Ceylon Electricity Board Engineers announcing the imposition of power cuts under four stages today and tomorrow, following fruitful discussions with the President, it was decided not to impose power cuts, said Minister of Power Gamini Lokuge.
