Except for the thunder showers during the afternoon or night at a few places in the Rathnapura, Kaluthara, Galle and Matara districts, mainly fair weather will prevail over most parts of the island, stated the Meteorology Department.
Misty conditions can be expected at Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central and Uva provinces and Galle and Matara districts during the morning.
