The first Kumbal Perahera of the Kandy Esala Perahera will take to the streets today (13).
Departing from the Sacred Sri Dalada Maligawa at 7.18 pm, the Perahera will proceed along Dalada Weediya, D.S. Senanayake Weediya, Pansala Road, Deva Weediya, Colomba Weediya to D.S. Senanayake Weediya and Raja Weediya.
Diyawadana Nilame Pradeep Nilanga Dela says that due to the pandemic, the public will not be allowed to witness the Kandy Esala Perahera this time and steps have been taken to keep all the artistes participating in the Perahera in a bio-bubble.
