The Government has decided to administer Chinese-made Sinopharm vaccine for students going overseas for higher education.
Students who are leaving for countries that have mandated the completion of COVID-19 vaccination will be administered the vaccine.
The Army Commander General Shavendra Silva said that, the students are required to register themselves through the official website of the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO): www.army.lk/covid19
Following the registration, students will receive a SMS regarding the date,time and venue where the vaccine will be administered.
