The COVID-19 death toll in the country surged to 370 yesterday with five more deaths being confirmed by the Health Services Director General, the Government Information Department said.
A 45-year-old female from Kapuliyadda, an 81-year-old male from Moratuwa, a 56-year-old male from Ketawala, a 73-year-old male from Kurunegala and a 74-year-old female from Anuradhapura are among the victims.
