The Peliyagoda Fish Market Complex will re-open on Wednesday (Dec. 16) only for limited wholesale operations, with strict adherence to the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health, the Department of Government Information said.
According to the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health, the Peliyagoda Fish Market will be open only for wholesale trade at the request of traders until it is fully modernized and opened for wholesale and retail operations.
The Peliyagoda Fish Market was temporarily closed down on 21st October after 49 traders at the market tested positive for COVID-19.
