Attorney General Dappula de Livera has issued revised instructions and guidelines to Acting IGP to grant bail to suspects in remand and file charges in order to reduce prison overcrowding considering the Covid 19 spread in the Remand Prisons, AG’s Coordinating Officer said.
The order has been directed at the request of Minister of Justice Ali Sabry.
