Official ID can be used as Curfew Pass for employees in over 80 institutions

Employees attached to 84 institutions are permitted to use their Official Employee Identification as a Curfew Pass during the Quarantine Curfew period, said Deputy Police Chief Ajith Rohana on Sunday (01).

However, the employees of the said institutions are warned not to abuse the Official Employee ID during the Quarantine Curfew period.

These Institutions are:

– Attorney General’s Department
– Ministry of Defence
– Export Development Board
– Ministry of Internal Trade, Food Security and Consumer Welfare
– Office of the Cabinet of Minister
– Department of Immigration and Emigration
– Commissions established via the Constitution
– Department of Ayurveda
– Board of Investment
– Food Commissioners Department
– Labour Department
– Ministry of Women & Child Affairs and Social Security
– Department of Meteorology
– National Livestock Development Board
– Department of National Zoological Gardens
– District Secretariats
– Inland Revenue Department
– Department of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources
– Offices of Provincial Governors
– Offices of Chief Provincial Secretaries
– Consumer Affairs Authority
– Divisional Secretariat
– Government Printer
– Government Analyst’s Department
– Ministry of Public Administration, Home Affairs, Provincial Councils and Local Government.
