Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in Uva, Eastern and North-Central provinces and in Hambantota, Mullaitivu and Vavuniya districts after 2.00pm. Fairly heavy falls above 50 mm can be expected at some places, particularly in Uva province and in Trincomalee and Ampara districts.
General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
