The general public has been urged to restrict visits to the National Eye Hospital.

Its Director accordingly requested the public to visit the hospital only for emergencies, clinical treatment and essential services.

The decision has been taken owing to the sharp rise in the COVID-19 positive cases in Sri Lanka within the past few days.
