The power supply will be suspended for an hour across the island on a daily basis, with effect from yesterday for a period of 04 days.
General Manager at the Ceylon Electricity Board, Keerthi Karunarathne said the island will be divided into four regions and the power supply will be suspended on four separate time slots.
According to CEB, the time slots are as follows:
6:00 pm to 7:00 pm
7:00 pm to 8:00 pm
8:00 pm to 9:00 pm
9:00 pm to 10:00 pm
Karunarathne further said these power cuts will be experienced for at least the next four days until the national transmission grid is restored.
