Sri Lankans stranded in Lebanon and Mumbai due to the coronavirus pandemic, are to be repatriated to the country today (June 27).
Accordingly, 275 Sri Lankans from Lebanon & 36 people from Mumbai to arrive in the country on Saturday, Military Spokesperson Brigadier Chandana Wickremesinghe said.
All returnees will be subjected to mandatory PCR tests at the airport premises and thereafter will be directed to mandatory quarantine.
Additionally, 230 Sri Lankans who were stranded in Bangladesh were repatriated to the country on Friday.
