A 23-year-old youth who had gone bathing has drowned in the sea in Egoda Uyana.
The youth had gone to bathe in the along with some of his relatives, according to Police.
The deceased was a resident of Moratuwa.
Another woman who drowned yesterday has been admitted to the Panadura Hospital and is in critical condition.
