Meghan Markle has married Prince Harry in a modern and moving service on saturday (19 May).
Meghan was a vision in while in a simple yet stunning dress by British designer Clare Waight Keller, Artistic Director at Givenchy. The 5-metre veil, made from silk tulle with a trim of hand-embroidered flowers in silk threads and organza was held in place by Queen Mary’s diamond bandeau tiara, lent to her by The Queen, made in 1932.
According to the Kensington Palace, Meghan’s bouquet contained several flowers handpicked by Prince Harry from their private garden. The spring blooms include Forget-Me-Nots which were one of Diana, Princess of Wales’ favourite flowers, reports add.
Harry’s niece and nephew – George and Princess Charlotte – were among the six bridesmaids and four pageboys, all aged between two and seven.
Meghan walked halfway through the church before being met Prince Charles at the Quire who took her to Harry.
Britain’s royals including the Queen and Prince Philip, as well as celebrities such as the Clooneys, the Beckhams, Idris Elba, Elton John and Oprah were among the wedding guests. Following the wedding Harry & Meghan to be formally known as the Duke & Duchess of Sussex
