The 5th death from the novel coronavirus in Sri Lanka was reported a short while ago, according to Director General of Health Services Dr. Anil Jasinghe.
The deceased is a 44-year-old male who had been receiving treatment at the Welikanda hospital.
This brings the total number of coronavirus deaths in the country to 5.
