Head of state intelligence summoned before 4/21 commission

Head of State Intelligence Brigadier Suresh Salley has been summoned to appear before the Presidential Commission appointed to probe the 21st April attacks, today (Feb 20). Commission Secretary HMPB Herath said the hearing of evidence would begin at around 2 this afternoon.

The Commission has so far recorded statements from 69 people.

The term of the Commission is due to expire on the 31st of next month.
