A 12-hour water cut will be in effect in Athurugiriya and the surrounding areas, according to the National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB).
The NWSDB stated that the water cut will be in effect due to essential maintenance work being carried out by the CEB.
Areas in the Athurugiriya municipality including the Millenium city housing scheme will be affected by the water cut.
