The Department of Registration of Persons has stated that they are experiencing a shortfall of paper used for printing National ID cards.
A senior official added that as a result, students sitting the Ordinary level exams will be an issue a special certificate with the permissions of the Examinations Director General.
While the order has been made for 1 million units of the required material, it is yet to be delivered. They believe the material will be delivered by the 1st week of November.
