Secretary of Defence General Shantha Kottegoda said the Emergency Regulations would not be extended. General Kottegoda speaking to media said this measure was taken as the security within the country was established.
The Emergency Regulations were enforced across the country following the 04/21 terror attacks.
General Kottegoda said taking in to account the present normal situation in Sri Lanka, the Emergency Regulations would not be extended.
