An elderly woman and her son have been found murdered inside their home in Jayanthi Nagar, Kilinochchi.
Police said that the victims have been identified as a 74-year-old woman and her 34-year-old son, both residents of the area.
It is suspected that they had died as a result of an attack carried out by a certain individual or a group.
Kilinochchi Police is conducting investigations to arrest the suspects.
