04/21 Parliamentary Select Committee summons IGP and former Defence Secretary on June 6

The Parliamentary Select Committee appointed to investigate the 04/21 terror attacks has issued summons on IGP Pujith Jayasundara, who was sent on compulsory leave, and former Defence Secretary Hemasiri Fernando. They are due to appear before the committee at 11 am tomorrow (June 6).

Defence Secretary General Shantha Kottegoda, National Intelligence Chief Sisira Mendis and former Director of the TID, DIG Nalaka De Silva have so far given evidence before the Parliamentary Select Committee.
