General Secretary of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party, Dayasiri Jayasekara, MPs Duminda Dissanayake, R. Sampanthan, Lasantha Alagiyawanna, Ranjith Siymbalapitiya, T. B. Ekanayake, Mahinda Amaraweera, M.L. A. Hizbullah, Faizer Mustapha, A. H. M. Fowzie, S. B. Nawinna, Sumedha G. Jayasena, Duleep Wijesekara, Dunesh Gankanda and Chandima Weerakkody are yet to hand over their official residences.
The Ministry of Public Administration and Management states that over 20 former ministers have not handed over their official residences as yet. A senior spokesperson for the ministry stated that the said Ministers were notified to hand over the Ministries as soon as possible.
