A housing scheme on Church Road in Wattala had been isolated after 35 Covid-19 infected people were identified, the National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO) said.
Meanwhile, a total of 337 Covid infected persons were identified yesterday and 189 of them were reported from the Colombo district.
According to the centre, 68 cases have been reported from the Hulftsdorp Police area while 22 cases were reported from Colombo 13, 25 from Grandpass, 19 from Colombo 15, 15 from Dematagoda and 14 from Borella.
A total of 47 covid patients have been reported from the Gampaha district and 22 of them were reported from Veyangoda.
