Dialog Axiata PLC has partnered with the Ministry of Education to provide the opportunity for the children to receive education at home from their school teachers free of charge, using the phone either with or without internet facilities.
Accordingly, teachers will be able to contact up to 45 students simultaneously through the 1377 number of the Ministry of Education.
The computer software for this programme has been provided by Dialog Axiata PLC while the programme would be implemented at 100 schools selected from the nine provinces.
