The United National Party notes that a final decision on the symbol that will be used for the upcoming general election will be made tomorrow.
UNP General Secretary Akila Viraj Kariyawasam noted that the party’s working committee will convene tomorrow to reach a final verdict on whether the symbol of the elephant or the swan will be used for the election.
Meanwhile, Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa and officials of the new alliance formed under him are due to meet with party officials who own the symbol of the swan.
