The body of a female has been found floating in the Bolgoda River in Bandaragama, stated Bandaragama Police.
The deceased has been identified to be a 70-year-old woman from Aluthgama who had been missing from home since February 03.
The police had been investigating a complaint lodged by a relative of the deceased, yesterday (04).
Reportedly, the body was discovered near the Rakgaha ferry in the Bolgoda River.
Further investigations are carried out by the Bandaragama Police.
