The names of the COPE and COPA committee members are expected to be announced in Parliament on the 05th of February. A source from Parliament said the political parties represented in Parliament were informed to make their recommendations for the said committees.
The respective committees would convene after the membership is approved by Parliament. The Heads of the respective select committees will be chosen by the members of the committees during the first meeting. 10 Parliamentary Committee including COPE and COPA ceased to operate when Parliament was prorogued on the 03rd of December 2019.
