The Department of Examinations states that conducting tuition classes, lectures and seminars relating to the GCE O/L examination will be prohibited from midnight tonight.
Issuing a release, the Department noted that the distribution of pamphlets, displaying of banners and posters claiming to provide students with mock examination papers, will also be prohibited.
The Department added it would take strict legal action against such people who breach these regulations.
This year’s GCE Ordinary Level examination will commence on the 12th of December, at 4,987 examination centers.
717,018 candidates are scheduled to sit for the exam.
