United People’s Freedom Alliance (UPFA), Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) and Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) signed an agreement to form a new coalition, a short while ago.
The new coalition is named ‘Sri Lanka Nidahas Podujana Sandanaya’ (Sri Lanka Freedom People’s Alliance).
Seventeen political parties including the UPFA, SLFP, and SLPP signed the agreement, stated our news reporter.
